Chief Executive Pays a Working Visit

 

As part of the work schedule, the District Chief Executive of Shai-Osudoku District Assembly,   Hon. Daniel Teye Akuffo and his Management team visited some Industries/Companies in the District.

The purpose of the visit was to find out the achievements of the various companies so far and the challenges they are facing.

Some Companies visited were Poultry City Farms, Derby Quarries, Cedar Quarries, Zena Quarries, West Coast Quarries and Tomato factory. The tour according to the DCE was to embark upon with a multipurpose objective:-

1. To officially familiarize himself with the CEO’s and Managers of the various companies and also to show appreciation to them, for various roles they play in revenue generation in the District.

2. To get a first-hand information on the challenges and issues they face whiles running their various companies.

3. The DCE and his team advised the various companies on how to improve upon their areas of work.

4. The Chief Executive and his Team used the opportunity to supervise and inspect both the environment and atmosphere in which they work.

 According to him,the Assembly under his able leadership will continue to support them in whatever ways to expand their businesses and help solve the unemployment issues in the District.

He urged the Quarries to support the Assembly in building Police Post at their main Junction to combat the rampant robbery at the Quarries. Which he promised a second meeting to discuss the way forward as well as other pressing issues.

Mr Akuffo advised them to acquire the legal documents and also go through the right process to prevent any inconveniences or disturbances from anyone.

He expressed his gratitude to them for their social responsibilities and also for welcoming the Team and himself to their various Offices.

The Companies thanked the DCE and his Team for taking time off their busy schedules to interact with them and also know their challenges. They promise to support the building of the Police post as it’s for their own benefit and protection.
