SHAI-OSUDOKU DCE SPEARHEADS CLEAN-UP EXERCISE AT KORDIABE.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly(SODA), Hon. Ignatius Godfred Dordoe has led a massive clean-up exercise at Kordiabe in the District, a typical illustration of the Assembly’s commitment to promoting proper sanitation management among the people to complement the broader effort at all sub- national levels towards achieving a common goal.

There was massive turnout for the exercise which saw staff of the Assembly, the Hon. Assemblyman for the area, Godwin Martey, Unit Committee Members, and the youth actively participating in the exercise.

Hon. Dordoe, in the aftermath of the exercise, made a cash donation to the Assemblyman in recognition of all participants and to refresh the youth for availing themselves for the exercise. He charged them to continue playing their civic roles in maintaining the cleanliness and development of their community.

The cleanup campaign is in harmony with the advocacy efforts of the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo, and President John Dramani Mahama, who continue to champion programs and activities to promote a healthier Greater Accra and Ghana by extension.

The continuous engagement of various inhabitants and stakeholders at the local level, demonstrates the assembly's resolve to contribute its quota to achieve the much- desired objectives for national development.

The Shai-Osudoku District Assembly wishes to extend its heartfelt appreciation to all residents, stakeholders, and Assembly staff who participated successfully in the exercise.

It further wishes to urge inhabitants and all well-meaning persons to continue to demonstrate their civic responsibility in such selfless manner to put the District on the map.
