The Presiding Member for Shai Osudoku District Assembly Honorable Noah Sabutey has embarked upon a wide-ranging tour of registration centres of the ongoing voter registration exercise in the District.

The Presiding Member who was accompanied by the District Information Officer, Mrs Cornelia Asante-Obeng seized the opportunity to educate registrants and constituents on the functions of the Public Relations and Complaints Committee (PRCC) of the Assembly over which he presides as chairman.
Interacting with the people at various centres, He said the committee is mandated to receive complaints against the conduct of members and staff of the Assembly from the public and make recommendations to the Assembly.
He said the PRCC investigates such complaints as the first step adding that they have the liberty to bring such complaints to the Assembly for an amicable resolution.
Hon. Seabury urged the people to refrain from taking the law into their own hands against any member and acting contrary to bye-laws and civil laws saying the committee existed for their sake.
On her part, Mrs Asante-Obeng entreated the people to always seek amicable ways of resolving challenges that confront them to promote social harmony and peaceful coexistence.
Except for a few anomalies, the Presiding member was largely impressed with turnout and compliance to protocols.
