Shai-Osudoku District Assembly Benefits from Safety Net Project.

The Shai-Osudoku District Assembly (SODA) have benefitted from the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project (GPSNP) which seeks to improve the targeting of social protection programs and providing income support to the extremely poor households through livelihood empowerment against poverty.

The implementation depends heavily on human labour so as to retain the bulk of money involves in the pockets of the individual in the beneficiary community.

Some communities benefiting from His Excellency Nana Addo's government under the GPSNP in our district under the able leadership of Hon. Daniel Teye Akuffo are Kewum Atrobinya- Volivo, climate change mitigation; Duffor, Volivo, lanor, and Avakpo, construction of 3.5 km feeder roads; Kordiabe, delayed due to difficulty in getting land but will soon take off; Agortor, mini village dam for farming, yet to take off.
