Soda DCE Welcomes Students Back to School
The District Chief Executive for Shai-Osudoku District Assembly, Hon. Daniel Teye Akuffo has paid a working visit to Osudoku Senior High Technical School to cautiously welcome students back to school on Tuesday 23rd June 2020.
He also welcomed the school management including teachers who are expected to resume duty with some sense of cautious optimism.
Addressing the students, He encouraged them not to entertain any fear as measures are in place to ensure their safety.
He said, the school is well resourced to cater for the needed logistics to ensure that they abide by the recommended hygiene protocols.
Mr Akuffo further stated, though they would be provided with face masks and hand sanitizers, it is their sole responsibility to regularly stick to these rules to ensure their safety and urged them not to relent in doing these.
He also urged teachers to keep a keen eye on students to ensure that they maintain discipline with the protocols.
The Assembly, He said was on stand-by to readily rally to the support of the school in the event of any unusual contingency for the safety of the school.
He wished the final year students success in their impending final examinations and urged them to remain calm and focused as they feverishly prepare to write their exams adding that their well-being and safety was assured.
He was accompanied by the District Health Director, Rev. Ebenezer Asiamah, District Education Director, Madam Elizabeth Awoonor-Williams and the District Information Officer, Ms.Cornelia Asante-Obeng..
